On a blue sky Ozark Autumn morning, Mel and I stretched this day trip into what seemed like a mini vacation, as we drove to Eureka Springs for a long overdue interview with Eric Scheunemann.
The fourth year has just begun for the James Yale Legacy Project's "Rediscovered Art." Thanks to a lot of you on the Nancy Drew Crew, I have a list of clues and interviews to pursue, and trust me, I will stay quite engaged this year. This mystery keeps unfolding with your sleuthing enthusiasm, and is deeply appreciated, as we build James' Catalog for future exhibits.
However, this interview came about by chance. Earlier this year, I ran into Eric at the So Good Cafe in Eureka Springs. Word gets around about our sleuthing and Eric volunteered his story and today's "Rediscovered Art" that will be archived on jamesyale.com
James wanted to do a series of collaborations with artists he admired, in what James called Mutual Respect. Eric is one of those artists. This interview with Eric, includes his friendship and collaboration with James. And as James would want, it is my honor to introduce you to the artistry of Eric Schuenemann.
