Today’s post is more than the rediscovery of James’ artwork, but a master class of witnessing the magic of synchronicity driving the bus that began when I found a letter from the early 2000’s, a letter sent to James from Diane Littleton that included four intriguing photos of a series of a beautiful woman emerging from an egg.

From eggs to Charlotte’s web, it was Rhiannon Wallace from my Nancy Drew Crew who found the contact for Diane. My reaction was an exuberant “SHUT UP!!” From Rhiannon and Diane’s conversation, it appears that as we were on the trail looking for Diane, Diane was on our trail after reading the feature story by Dustin Staggs in the Democrat- Gazette about the James Yale Legacy Project.

Being a very auditory human, my initial call with Diane made my tail wag on contact. To coordinate the next step with Diane was a 200 mile hurdle on how to get the artwork photographed properly. Plus, we needed to get a computer on Diane’s end to set up the interview.

This is a testament to full circle magic that swirls around this mission. An amazing spiral of connections, from Diane reading about the James Yale Legacy Project in the Dem/Gaz, to Faye Hedera, who came to my aid. Faye created the documentary, For the Love of James –that accompanied the article that captured the heart of the Legacy Project so beautifully, and to our youngest Rhiannon Wallace who Nancy Drewed and found the beautiful Diane Littleton to share her art and story.

Diane’s title for the Emergence series, set in motion on July 8, 2026, this interview brought together 4 generations of women. I will let the conversation speak for itself.

One more thing about Faye Hedera is that she is an extraordinary artist in her own right – musician and documentarian with a documentary work in progress: System disrupted… and an all around good egg I call friend.
