The Invitational welcomes a variety of creative voices, including storytellers, poets, songwriters, spoken-word artists, essayists, and short-story writers to perform Live at The Medium: A Place to Create.

Each participant will bring a unique perspective, creating an evening rich with diverse experiences, styles, and ways of seeing the world.

As a multi-generational project, the Invitational brings together voices and experiences from different ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. It is a celebration of the stories that connect us across generations and remind us of our shared humanity.

Through the power of storytelling, we honor the spirit of the James Yale painting Rayaak and the enduring ability of art to inspire conversation, foster understanding, and bring people together.
