This piece was titled by Cherry Brooks, award-winning blues and soul singer from Pine Bluff, Arkansas. From her early days with Loose Gravel to leading the Brooks Family Band, she left a lasting mark on Southern music and was later inducted into the Ozark Music Awards Hall of Fame.
Alongside Cherry in this painting is Ely Yale.
James described the inspiration:
“If we learn our lessons, we do not have to repeat them. There have been explorers that have come before us. The goal is to explore the Universe with the wonderment of a child.”
