James Yale January 31, 1947 – August 18, 2023
My statement from last week revealed that we started opening scrolls of original sketches to the Nautilus House and James’ paintings. As promised, this week’s post includes the 8 rediscovered architectural images that have not been opened in over forty years of James’ design for the Nautilus House. I have put my full trust in Matt Meers, who has become passionate about our mission and has joined us as the curator to open and photograph these scrolls. The architectural sketches are part of over 100 sketches to be matched with James’ original artwork that may include architectural commissions. YOU may have some of James’ original architectural drawings.
I would like to invite you to join us in sharing them with your stories to help us build James’ catalog and keep his legacy alive for future generations.

With every scroll revealed, I understand more of the vision that James Yale had as an artist, a Human and as a Spiritual Being. His connection to the intricate structures of life led him to see new patterns for living. I have similar tendencies, but James’ vision is so much further developed, that I know I will learn a lot from studying these designs.
